Absolute Black VET ink for Epson EcoTank

Absolute Black VET inks have been specially formulated to work with the print heads on the latest Epson EcoTank printers, and provide excellent light blocking characteristics when screen separation  printing films. The inks are supplied in special 140 ml capacity bottles that plug in to the tanks on most EcoTank models, as well as in 1 liter bulk bottles that can be used to refill the special bottles for additional savings.

Absolute Black VET inks are normally installed in all tanks on an Epson EcoTank printer to provide ‘All Black’ printing and the densest possible print.

We recommend only installing Absolute Black inks on brand new Epson EcoTank printers that have not been filled with the original inks. Simply install from new and let the printers automatic initial fill routine prime the printer with the Absolute Black inks. Installing Absolute Black VET inks on EcoTank models that are currently running Epson original inks is not recommended as it is very difficult to flush out the EcoTank ink system. Mixing Absolute Black inks with original Epson inks can lead to poor print performance and head clogging.

Absolute Black VET inks will work with most recent Epson EcoTank Models. However, some EcoTank models do not feed film correctly, so we currently recommend the Epson EcoTank Photo ET-8500 for letter size printing, the Epson EcoTank Photo ET-8550 for prints up to 13” wide, and the Epson SureColor T3170x for up to 24” wide printing. To fill all 6 tanks on the ET-8500 and ET-8550 requires 3 x 140 ml bottles of Absolute Black VET inks. TO fill all 4 tanks on the T3170X requires 4 x 140 ml bottles.

Unlike Epson EcoTank refill bottles which are sealed, our 140 ml refill bottles feature a removable top to allow for bottle re-use. Because of this, our 140ml EcoTank bottles are heat sealed to prevent leakage during shipment. To use, simply unscrew the special top, remove the bottle heat seal, and replace the top. For larger volume users, we supply the Absolute Black VET inks in bulk 1 liter bottles that are supplied along with an empty 140 ml bottle and a filling funnel. Using the funnel, the 140 ml bottle can be refilled multiple times from the 1 liter bulk bottle for additional cost savings.
