Absolute Black Ink Cartridges
Single use 220 ml capacity cartridges for the Epson Pro 4800 filled with Absolute Black inks for printing screen separations. Absolute Black ink has superior light blocking characteristics, is more scratch resistant, and will print faster when compared to the original inks.
Note: Absolute Black inks are mixable with Epson original black inks so cartridges can be installed in the black channels of a printer without flushing first. We recommend that an initial fill routine or two power cleans are performed when installing Absolute Black for the first time to ensure that you are not printing with a mixture of black inks. If you are installing Absolute Black inks on a brand new machine that has never seen inks before then no flushing out is required before installation - just install the carridges and let the machine run it's initial fill routine. However, Absolute Black inks are not mixable with regular Epson color inks and, if you intend to run Absolute Black in any channels other than black on a used printer, then we strongly recommend flushing with cleaning fluid before installation. We supply cleaning cartridges and bulk bottles of cleaning fluid for this purpose. See our guides on our support pages for more information on using Absolute Black and how to flush out a printer.
